Aida Ghiaei graduated from UCONN and worked at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine as a research scientist focusing on genetics of Sarcoidosis, COPD and Cystic Fibrosis while managing research and clinical labs. Aida in her last position at the NYU Cancer Institute managed and coordinated all cancer related protocols. She has great experience teaching various subjects in science from middle school kids to freshman, sophomores and juniors at UCONN.
Dr. Kazerounian has been with the UConn Mechanical Engineering Department since 1984. His expertise is in analytical and computational kinematics and dynamics applied in diverse application fields, such as protein based nano-scale mechanical devices, optimization of mechanisms and gear systems, robotics, and human motion analysis.
