Growing up I always knew that I wanted to be an engineer because of my love of science and fascination with how machines work. Attending a trade school served only to reinforce that interest as I build different projects during shop cycles.

I serve as floor representative for North Campus Area Council and one of my responsibilities is to take the concerns of the residents on my floor to the executive board. I also had the wonderful privilege of serving as a Student Support Services peer mentor. Being a peer mentor was an experience where not only did my mentees learned from our time together but so did I. As a mentor I had to learn to work with different personalities and help each mentee to get through their stressful first year.
